Spring break, goodie. I've got to get out of the house. Please read a *Note in here. And PLEASE, pray for or donate to Japan. They really need all the help they can get right now.

     I am working on two marimba solos because neither on is long enough, to try out for State at solo/ensemble. They are, "Rotation IV" from Eric Sammut's "Four Rotations Pour Marimba" which I fell in love with when i heard it last year and "Ghost River" by Stephen Crawford. It's thanks to God that they're coming along otherwise there's no way I could have any hope to go to State. I'm gonna pray God helps me with my snare solos too. I don't really want to play them, but I'd prefer not to stink in front of the judges or pay the fee for not participating in those. Since I'm planning to continue music in college  I should play the snare solos. -.- winter drum line is so much fun! I love it and I love my friends in there. In one of our early competitions a judge commented on how they liked the amount of energy the marimba player; (me) was giving off! We have ugly uniforms though.

     I am SO EXCITED and LOVING LIFE!I got to share my testimony at my school's FCA and it went very well. A lot of people liked it beacuse of how it shows God was there and how evident and unique the sitation and blessing was. If anyone cares, I can share it with you if you would like. And someone in my class had a dream there were 10 Bibles just like mine, with the designs I'd drawn on them and everything, stacked on top of a table. Not sure what it means but it's got to be a good thing! I really feel like God's been with me lately! He is answering my prayers and showing me He is here with me.

*Note: I'm not trying to push anything onto anyone. I love my Bible. But I would please ask if you try to use it, please take the time to read it and understand it. It's meant as a guidebook to life and a love book. <3 You don't have to read it but if you choose to, don't just use a verse and lash it out against Christians. It's the same with anything else. You can't use something or say something about a situation if you don't understand it or know what you're talking about.

    Finished the Hunger Games series! YES! It was good!

       Again, I still strongly recommend "90 Minutes in Heaven" by Don Piper with Cecil Murphy. It is truly amazing and inspiring!

I really feel like one of the things I am supposed to do is continue with my artwork and I'm getting positive feedback. A college art professor says I can definitely get a job with it if I keep going, but I'll have to go to graduate school. My lovely art teacher is telling me to document everything and she is wonderful. This really makes me happy, especially since someone wasn't so sure about my art and thought I should get a job with something else after college. Thank you, God for your blessing and helping me draw! <3
